about the
We are proud to be the Official Teamwear Partner of The Cauliflower Club & The CCXV.
Established in late 2012 by Peter FitzSimons (President) and Nick Farr-Jones (Vice
President), The Cauliflower Club is a Rugby based charity committed to providing
sporting and recreational equipment to enhance the lives of those with a disability,
with a bias towards sporting related injuries. They use the power and prestige of Rugby
Union, through our members, sponsors, ambassadors, and partners to help raise funds
for the Cauliflower Club to make their mission statement a reality.
Peter sees it slightly more artistically …. “Though our boots be hung and our day be
done, our mission is to bring together the Rugby core as in days of yore. Let us be a
gathering point for the good folk, and backs too, who know that having cauliflower ears
marks you as a man of honour. We want to harness the spirit and values of the game
they play in heaven, and through that to give a helping hand to those who have suffered
disabilities.”
Charity funds are raised via the generosity of their growing Australian and overseas
expat membership base, through their annual fundraising lunch held in Sydney, their Old Boys Rugby Team, The CCXV, and a range of events attached to various Rugby games at Local, Club, State and International levels.
Membership is $50 per year and branded merchandise is available through the Club.
In addition, an optional ‘try fine’ $50 tax-deductible donation is called for every time a Wallaby front rower scores a try.
The Cauliflower Club's esteemed patron is Dame Marie Bashir AD, CVO and former Governor of New South Wales.

about THE
The CCXV was formed in 2017 with our inaugural Charity match versus Cooma Rugby Old Boys.
We play traditional Golden Oldies Rugby - we don't play for sheep stations, we play for just another run onto the paddock with our mates against good Rugby blokes - uncontested rucks and scrums, plenty of camaraderie and a few beers thrown in for good measure.
The CCXV boasts regular Rugby Old Boys from Rugby Clubs around Australia and former Wallabies who generously donate their time and money to play against fellow Old Boy Rugby Clubs who share our passion for Rugby and helping those less fortunate.
We uphold the values and traditions that make our game of Rugby the game they play in heaven and use these fixtures to promote the Cauliflower Club and Rugby in general, with the intention of raising much needed funds for the disabled, catastrophically injured players and country rugby.
